Jane Izzard, our grandmother in the 1880's or 90's

Jane at 5 Park Road Thurnscoe, in 1930's. Park Road is where you lived for a few weeks .

Pearl with her dad, Walter, outside 5 _Park Road. Looking at the photo in greater ,detail why is she dressed with overcoat hat and gloves in hand. I wonder if this is her first uniform for Wath Grammar.

Pearl is the one on the right , probably 1933 but no later. The others are Ivy, Lizzy and Minnie. Minnie died at the end of 1933 or early January 1934. We think it may be their other sister, Jinnie's, wedding

Pearl, again outside Park Road. Late thirties or even during the war. This is a print off a scanned image a cousin gave to me.

Pearl with Ray, my father after their wedding in 1941. They are standing outside my fathers parents house. They spent their three day honeymoon there. My grandparents lived there until they died in the early 70's.

Pearl on her wedding day again

A war time picture

Another war time picture. My aunt worked at a photographers colouring black and white photograps. Apparently colour was either very expensive or non existent and so you would tell them how you wanted the picture colouring and they would touch up the photo

I think this one was taken in London when her brother was getting an MBE.

Silver wedding photo, 1966
